Web Design Tips - Content, Content & More Content
Have you ever clicked on a Google sponsored ad and wound up in a link farm full of advertising with no content? In response to a recent lawsuit which cost Google $90M for click fraud, on August 1, 2006 Google announced new guidelines for Pay per Click (PPC) landing pages. These new rules use the same parameters (keyword density, titles, headers, anchor text etc) that are used for ranking web pages for generic search results. If your PPC landing pages do not comply with the new Google rules you will be charged more per click than your competition.
The good news? - If your web pages contain sufficient content that is related to your keywords, your web page rankings will increase, ( = more real visitors) your Google advertising will cost less and users will finally get relevant search results.
